PRECISION HANDLOADING COURSE
Rifle Cartridge

The Accurate Handloading School's Class in precision handloading presents procedures generally accepted as fundamental to the assembly of  rifle ammunition suitable for competition, i.e., F-Class and benchrest matches. Although basic theory is discussed, this is a hands-on class. Discussion topics include safety, barrel vibration, concentricity, selection of tools and components, bullet, primer and cartridge case segregation criteria, fire forming, annealing and working up a load. Hands-on skills include the use of precision tools, case sizing, adjusting headspace, trimming, deburring, chamfering, uniforming, neck turning, bullet seating, neck tension, meplat uniforming and component assembly.

The class is designed for handloaders with some basic reloading experience. The program uses the Precision Shooting Reloading Guide, published by Precision Shooting, Inc. as the basic text. Cost of the course is $155.00 which includes a copy of the text. The course is normally conducted in one (long) day. Class location depends on the size of the class. However, the primary location is the Mother Lode Gun Club in Jamestown, California. Smaller classes (one or two students) are conducted in Arnold, California. Classes are limited to four students. For information and enrollment call 928 227-1732.  This is not an NRA developed or approved course.
